Perhaps the star of Wayside Cottage, the main bedroom is large, light and has wonderful views onto the open countryside on three sides. A beautiful king-sized bed with a very comfortable mattress abuts a brick & flint wall which is vaulted to the ceiling. A large wardrobe and chest of drawers match the bed furniture. This room includes a modern TV with HD Freeview, BBC iPlayer and access to the Netflix movie service.

Second Bedroom

This room maximises space & functionality. The large cupboard area houses the boiler, so is lovely and warm, ideal for drying-out boots and jackets after those countryside walks. There is a loo & vanity unit with a cupboard next to it that houses the washing machine - just in case you feel the need! As with all of the downstairs there is underfloor heating with room for damp dogs or welly boots.

Enclosed Garden

At the rear of Wayside is fully enclosed with traditional brick and flint walls. Lovely views across the adjacent fields with a patio area with table and chairs. The garden faces East from the cottage, ideal for coffee and breakfast on the terrace. On the field side of the garden there is a table & chairs so you can enjoy the views in the evening setting sun with your favourite tipple.

There is the added benefit of off-street private parking (rare for country cottages). The gravel driveway comfortably fits two cars. Despite the quaint sign on the gate, you can chose to close, or leave open the 5-bar gate!
